Coming from Joshua Tree, Damian is the discrete but very effective bass player in the Cock Robin 2006 line-up. He's got his own band too, called 'Abandon Ship', which is producing very good music. Damian is an apprentice with a permaculture landscaper, works for Genius Tribe, and is in the Kamana School of wilderness awareness. Other things he's interested in are: sustainable living, nurturing his relationships, true communication, lucidity, and expanding his awareness of nature. His main musical influences to date : The Beatles, Pink Floyd, Steve Lester (his father), Oingo Boingo, XTC, Bob Marley, Radiohead, U2, Coldplay, Ani Difranco, Miles Davis, Nickel Creek, Edgar Meyer, The Verve, Elliot Smith, and The Flaming Lips.  The friend, the blazing drummer. Present since 1985 on the first album of the band, also contributed to 3rd LP 'First Love/Last Rites' with the drum/percussion. He then co-produced the 1st Peter Kingsbery solo album and took part with drums to 'Once in a Million' Peter's album. His musical talents made him to work with many other bands like The Rembrandts or The Sugercubes. He forms part of the 2006 Cock Robin line-up.
