Just coming back from Hannut - happy after a great gig ... if I would not already love CR, after that I would
I'm not sure about the setlist, that's what I think I remember:
1. I'll send them your way (nice, slower version)
2. After all is said and done (Anna' addition makes a great song out of a good)
3. When your heart is weak
4. Because it keeps on working (love the live version from Germany 1986, but this version is even better: drum driven, hypnotic like Indian tribal beats)
5. For experience sake
6. Only the very best (Peter alone on stage)
7. Just around the corner (acoustic; with all those acoustic versions i miss the original intro - thank God Anna is humming it at the end)
8. For dear life
9. Cowards courage
10. I don't want to save the world (in my ears with heavier rocking refrain, like this more than the album version)
11. Worlds apart
12. The promise you made
Encore:
1. Hunting down a killer
2. Superhuman
Hope someone corrects this soon, I don't think that all is in the right order and not sure if i got all the songs - don't know if i've been dreaming, but I think that "Thought you were on my side" was played too.
Though i guess 90% of the audience was waiting for Lara Fabian, CR got a very good reception. IMO a great performance that got them some nw fans. During (i think) "For experience sake" some sound problems, Peter seemed to be not satisified, but fixed it without a break. PK was chatting a lot in French (so I couldn't understand a word) - about Anna's pregnancy, how "Hunting down ..." was written, gave a long intro to "Only the very best". Anna was so sweet, dancing all the time ...
P.S.: Seems that Anna's expecting a girl, as she said something like "A new band member is with me, SHE can take my place"
Sorry, didn't make any good pics, but here's a least one:

That must have been awesome, I love the song.

These too must have been awesome, the way you describe them.
Thanks for your report, SteeOui |

Fortunately you are there cause apparently very few people of this forum went there ! Thank you very much for this review. Your pics give a good outline all the same. The setlist although a little shortened compared to the other previous shows is obviously fabulous. What does it feel like to see them on stage after all this time ? _________________ I used to be schyzophrenic but we're ok now. |

Can't really describe it ... was such a wonderfull moment (Maybe the second best this year ... 1st place is unbeatable, was when Nina accepted my proposal )
These people are so great live and I dreamed for so long to hear these songs live ... was beyond expectations! The setlist could always be longer but it was a great one nevertheless. The only thing that will top this for me will be a gig with CR headlining plus meeting all those people i got to know through CR (maybe sometime in France). Have to give a huge compliment to the Lara Fabian - Fans, the reception of the "main-act"-fans is often not as good as it was yesterday.
... still having yesterday's music in my ears ... |

I also enjoyed your info about the Hannut concert and the pictures - Thanks SteeOui. I am trying to recall the song "After All is Said and Done". What album is it from? _________________ Cock Robin is absolutely the very BEST!!! |

It is an EXCELLENT album and also features other GREAT songs such as "Wedding Day" and "Better You Know" among other great songs as well. _________________ " I Look For Perfection, Inside Of This Wreck" |

oh... thanks Mike. No wonder the song wasn't familiar to me. I'm sure you're hoping, as I am, that C.R. will play in the states again someday soon, although it doesn't seem likely. But there's always hope. I mean who'd have thought they'd get back together and make a new album after all these years? Let's keep up the hope! _________________ Cock Robin is absolutely the very BEST!!! |

Your translation is quite good even though when you use this type of autogenerated translation tool, you always end up with words that have nothing to do with what you wanted to say and makes the text a little surreal, even funny: for instance I recall in your translation that you mentioned the word 'fan' as in CR, music fans and got the word for 'electric fan' ("ventilateur" in French), which was a bit surprising... and very funny but the general meaning of what you wanted to say was understandable, which is what matters and to be honest with you, I wouldn't be able to do in German what you did in French so well done |
